CARING FOR YOUR STONE PENDANT
A LITTLE CARE,
A LIFETIME OF WEAR
Each pendant is made to last a lifetime, with a little care and attention.
The stones we work with are strong by nature — shaped by rivers, seas, time, and patience — but they’ll stay beautiful for years to come when treated with the same care they were carved with.
WEARING YOUR PENDANT
-
It’s fine to wear your pendant directly against the skin — the oils from daily wear often help bring out a soft, natural polish.
-
Avoid wearing it during heavy physical activity, swimming, or showering, as prolonged moisture can weaken cords over time.
-
If you notice the cord beginning to fray or stretch, it’s best to have it restrung (we’re happy to help with that).

CLEANING & POLISIHNG
-
Gently wipe your pendant with a soft, damp cloth to remove oils or residue.
-
Avoid harsh chemicals, jewellery dips, or ultrasonic cleaners — they can dull or damage the stone’s natural surface.
-
If needed, use a dry microfibre cloth to restore its gentle shine. You can also lightly buff with a drop of natural oil, such as coconut or jojoba, to enhance the stone’s natural lustre.
STORAGE
-
Store your pendant somewhere soft, like a cloth pouch or jewellery box.
-
Avoid keeping it with metal jewellery that could scratch the surface.
-
If you still have the box your pendant was purchased in, that’s an ideal place for safe storage.
-
Keep it away from direct sunlight or heat for long periods, as some natural stones may fade slightly with excessive UV exposure.
