This beautiful Rhodonite is sourced from Otago, New Zealand, and has a gorgeous soft pink base with naturally occurring earthy brown and darker mineral patterns running through the stone. Every piece has its own unique colouring and patterning, making each pendant completely one-of-a-kind.
Rhodonite is a manganese-rich silicate mineral belonging to the pyroxenoid family. Its name comes from the Greek word rhodon, meaning “rose”, a nod to its beautiful rosy colouring.
The toki (adze) shape is traditionally associated with strength, determination, courage and authority. Its distinctive form also makes it a wonderful symbol of perseverance — a reminder of the strength and resilience we carry within ourselves.
Carved by hand in New Zealand from beautiful Otago Rhodonite, this pendant carries a little piece of Aotearoa with it.
